Unfortunately, due to other commitments I am finding it impossible to maintain Bunny in a meaningful way, and so I think the time has come to find another maintainer who can devote the necessary time to the project. I have corresponded with a couple of guys (Jakub and Michael) who have taken over the maintenance of the amqp-ruby (eventmachine-based) gem and they have some excellent plans to create gems that both amqp-ruby and Bunny can sit on top of. This is also very good news for anyone who wants to create their own Ruby AMQP clients. Development of RabbitMQ continues at a rapid pace and it would be a shame if Bunny got left behind. Please contact me if you would like to take over as Bunny maintainer. I will try to do what I can until someone takes over from me. I think that this will be a good thing for Bunny and Ruby AMQP clients in general. Regards, Chris
