Hi all,

I'm Steven Verborgh. I just found out about the "Belgian Ruby user
group"

I'm a long time Java, PHP, Linux and "Open source" teacher at
Hogeschool-WVL Dept PIH in Kortrijk.

I am still an entry level ruby/rails programmer. And this year
I'm starting a new course here called "Open Source Innovatief" which is
basically Ruby on Rails with a sauce of Source Control, Agile
development, Team work and well, the things you need to know but won't
normally teach you in schools. Actually I also needed a reason to throw
PHP out :). It's core course material includes of course "Agile Web
Development with Rails" ... hopefully with some of my personal notes if
I ever get there :)

Any suggestions on rails which should really, really be included in a
"Rails course" are of course welcome.

Also, I know Kortijk is not the most popular place in Belgium but if you
are looking for a location in West-Flanders where you can organize
_some_ meetings, I will gladly ask arround here for a place.
