Hi,

Maybe this is relevant for some of us, Ruby on Rails developers/contractors.

If ever you wanted to try out the vibrant London Ruby on Rails dev scene
(now that the games are nearly over), these kind of straight job ads from
real London start-ups are passing by regularly on the LRUG mailing list
(typically not from recruiters, but from the founders of real start-ups,
that you can meet face to face at the LRUG meetings). This one is for
one of the many start-ups using RoR in Shoreditch, near the "Silicon
Roundabout".

I had been in London for a while and have found it a very exciting
experience (back in Belgium for personal reasons), so certainly encouraging
you to look into it. And also from a distance, the LRUG mailing list in
general
is quite interesting for it's technical level of discussion on practical and
theoretical aspects of RoR project development and of course the LRUG
meetings are interesting too if you can make it to the Skills Matter
eXchange
(I spoke there for like 200 people vs. in Belgium, that would be 20 max at
the
Arrrrug).

We're* still searching for that Senior Ruby on Rails developer to join our

In the meantime I need to get someone in to help me asap so I'm looking for
a contractor who can work on site. We're just off Old Street roundabout and
only 5 minutes walk from Old Street Station. We're paying ?500pd and
seeking someone with senior/enterprise experience. You can pretty much use
