First off, many thanks to the fosdem team :-) Tom, Peter and I have prepared an updated version of the Call For Papers that we would want to send out ASAP to various Ruby and Rails lists. http://wiki.rubyist.be/wiki/show/CallForPapers Could you please review it on short notice, so we can send it out to relevant lists and announce the devroom on a broad scale. You might also review or suggest additions to the List of Channels where we could send out the Call For Papers: http://wiki.rubyist.be/wiki/show/ListOfChannels Thanks, Tom, Peter, PeterV -- Tom Klaasen, 10to1, Peter Vanbroekhoven, XaoP, Peter Vandenabeele From peter at vandenabeele.com Tue Dec 30 05:24:37 2008 From: peter at vandenabeele.com (Peter Vandenabeele) Date: Tue, 30 Dec 2008 11:24:37 +0100 Subject: [Brug-talk] Reminder: Ruby and Rails devroom at fosdem: 5 Jan 2009 deadline for abstract submission Message-ID: Hi, The Call for Papers for the Ruby and Rails devroom at fosdem (Sat 7 Feb 2009) will be closing on 5 January 2009. http://wiki.rubyist.be/wiki/show/CallForPapers Please take a moment to consider an interesting presentation or short tutorial (short or longer) you could make and send in your abstract. Maybe this calm period at the end of the year is the ideal time to write up that abstract. Last year we had quite a lot of interest, so please contribute your ideas so we can continue this Ruby and Rails track and make it more robust. Thanks ! Peter, Peter, Tom
