Hi,

My name is Tom Mestdagh, 26 years old.  I'm very happy to see that a 
Ruby user group in Belgium is emerging.
I'm a self employed webdeveloper living and working in Gent.

I know Ruby through Ruby On Rails, as probably the most members of this 
list :-)
I'm hooked to Ruby, RoR and the beautiful code since I saw that 
impressive screencast where they build a blog in 15 minutes.
Since then, which is about 1,5 years ago (Rails 0.6.2 - if I remember 
correct), I've started working with Ruby On Rails.
Most of my "coding gigs" are now in RoR, which I am very grateful for.

It's a great initiative to start BRUG and I hope to see you all on the 
first meeting.
However, I won't be able to join you guys (are there any women in BRUG?) 
at 7, but hopefully in time to see the presentation.
I hope this is no problem.
