Hi all,

This is the final call for participation for the first BRUG meeting
which will be held on Wednesday, October 3 at 19h. The address is
Business Centre Zennevallei, Bergensesteenweg 709, 1600 Sint-Pieters-Leeuw.

The program is as follows:
* 18h30 : Doors. Drinks are provided
* 19h00 : Welcome
* 19h15 : Introduction of participants (who, what, why, ...)
* 19h30 : Discussion of practical aspects of BRUG (when, how, ...)
* 19h45 : Presentation on "Metaprogramming in Ruby"
* 20h30 : Sandwiches
* 21h00 : End of meeting

If there is enough interest, the meeting can be continued in a local
café ;-)

For practical reasons, I would like to ask everyone who is attending to
send me an email in private (replying to this message sends it to the
mailing list instead of just me; that's OK, there is just no reason to
flood everyone with these messages). Please include any special dietary
requirements (vegetarian, allergies, ...) and if you are coming by
train. The closest train station is Lot, but Halle has better
connections so preferably you should get off there and then we can come
and pick you up. If you come by train to Halle, please include your
arrival time in your email so we can coordinate our "taxi service".

Of course, you are welcome to attend even if you do not let me know; we
will order some extra sandwiches but we cannot guarantee that every
unexpected guest gets one.

At http://www.xaop.com/pages/contact, you can find a map of the
location. It is a google map, so you can easily plan your route. Note
that the arrow is slightly off; the correct location is the small white
T-shaped building on on the other end of the turn (same side of the
road) in the satellite view. It is located between Hof Ten Brukom and
Mercedes Truck Center. A (less than ideal) route description can be
found here:
http://www.bczennevallei.be/content/?lang=en&module=liggingsplan. If you
have trouble locating us, feel free
to ask for extra information.

Kind regards,
Peter Vanbroekhoven
