I had installed the pre-packaged 1.0.0 tarball from the Borges Rubyforge
homepage that doesn't seem to contain the said fix. Now I've installed
the tarball from the cvs view and voila - everything works as expected.

Borges is really an awesome experience - thanks for directing me here.
