It seems that I stopped SushiNet hogging the memory. Simply by 
defining StoreItemList#will_answer? as false. (And by using my 
LRUCache, StateRegistry and Controller =))

This closes the memory issue for my app, I guess. The number of 
components will be bounded anyway.

P.S. This got me thinking about Borges 'design guidelines': it's too 
easy to write a memory-hogging app in Borges, and consequences of 
design decisions are not obvious. Tasks are the next big issue I'll 
have to tackle.
