Jonathan,

Regarding using the new java-based indexer.  I have updated the code 
stored in SVN at Rubyforge and added a Getting started document to walk 
you through getting started.  I also included a set of sample records, 
that you can use to see how the process works.


If you do a   svn update  you should see the new source code, the sample 
records, and the documentation about the program.
