From issues at mygrid.org.uk Mon Aug 6 11:28:24 2012 From: issues at mygrid.org.uk (Robert Haines (JIRA)) Date: Mon, 6 Aug 2012 12:28:24 +0100 (BST) Subject: [BioCatalogue-developers] [JIRA] Created: (BIOCAT-708) API not outputing some fields correctly Message-ID: <1287732367.605.1344252504641.JavaMail.jira@proteus> API not outputing some fields correctly --------------------------------------- Key: BIOCAT-708 URL: http://www.mygrid.org.uk/dev/issues/browse/BIOCAT-708 Project: BioCatalogue Issue Type: Bug Components: Annotations Plugin, REST API Affects Versions: 1.1.0 Reporter: Robert Haines Assignee: Finn Bacall Fix For: 1.1.0 It looks like objects returned from searches through the annotations are not being converted to strings correctly. This could be due to the fact that in the rest API results are returned through the to_xml method and the conversion of such object has not been added to the annotations plugin. >From Don (testing on behalf of the myExperiment data harvesting process): There are quite a few elements that aren't coming through correctly now. It's probably easiest to fetch a page, e.g.: http://test.biocatalogue.org/services.xml?include=summary%2Cdeployments And search for the string "#<" which shows up several places where ruby object descriptions appear. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira From issues at mygrid.org.uk Mon Aug 6 11:59:23 2012 From: issues at mygrid.org.uk (Finn Bacall (JIRA)) Date: Mon, 6 Aug 2012 12:59:23 +0100 (BST) Subject: [BioCatalogue-developers] [JIRA] Resolved: (BIOCAT-708) API not outputing some fields correctly In-Reply-To: <1287732367.605.1344252504641.JavaMail.jira@proteus> Message-ID: <157181859.606.1344254363135.JavaMail.jira@proteus> [ http://www.mygrid.org.uk/dev/issues/browse/BIOCAT-708?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ] Finn Bacall resolved BIOCAT-708. -------------------------------- Resolution: Fixed https://github.com/myGrid/biocatalogue/commit/e12adabc339a47ccaf6d4c3a7fa2b7d7574f01b7 > API not outputing some fields correctly > --------------------------------------- > > Key: BIOCAT-708 > URL: http://www.mygrid.org.uk/dev/issues/browse/BIOCAT-708 > Project: BioCatalogue > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Annotations Plugin, REST API > Affects Versions: 1.1.0 > Reporter: Robert Haines > Assignee: Finn Bacall > Fix For: 1.1.0 > > > It looks like objects returned from searches through the annotations are not being converted to strings correctly.
