[Boulder-Denver Ruby Group] BDRG - April Meeting - Apr 18th

Hi Everyone,

Here are some more details on the April 18th meeting.  We'll be
starting at our usual time of 6:30pm.  The main focus of the April
meeting will be on lightning talks.  We had a great round of lightning
talks back in the fall and several of you have requested we do another
round.  I fully agree and now we're doing that.  So what is a
lightning talk?  It's a short 5-10 minute presentation on some Ruby
related topic.  It could be a brief overview of a Gem you've been
using (or maybe wrote) that you want to share with the group.  It
could be a cool Rails plugin as well.  Maybe you've got a cool new app
that you want to share and show off the cool work you've recently
done.  All of these could be great lightning talks.  If you are
interested in doing a lightning talk, please email me offlist and let
me know what you want to present on.

But that's not the only thing we'll be doing on the April meeting.
Ara Howard is going to present a moderate (easy for your Ruby meta
programmers out there) Ruby puzzle for you to ponder.  He'll do so at
the beginning of the meeting so bring your laptops and hack away at it
during the transitions between talks.  At the end of the meeting Ara
will go over the answers and we can discuss them.  It looks like a
good meeting so I hope to see you all there.  Location with directions
