Perhaps, i get the feeling though that all user-space tools have loop holes,
after reading about soapbox.

Correct me if I wrong, but syscalltrack would detect everything that happens
to file system, right? But I guess it's a heavy fix b/c it is a kernel
module.

Also I was thinking about just having a new section in recipe for:
"sys_stuff_I_need_to_build" and "sys_stuff_i_will_change_on_install". That's
a lot more work for recipe maintainer though, but is 100% fool proof. Ah,
trade-offs.

no we really need what soapbox wishes to be:

What's next?
What I like to implement next is a redirect-option, so that changes made to
files will result in a copy made to another filesystem/path. And the changes
are made there.

This will make sure that programs will work as they should in all conditions
and it is still safe. Additionally, you could diff between the original files
and your 'redirected-root'.

This however is far more complex than what soapbox represents at the moment.
And maybe should be considered for a seperate project.

Actually I bet syscalltrack could probably be modified to do it. But I think
that's beyond my programming ability. Hopefully we can find a tool that
already does it, or find someone who knows how, and would like to.
