[Alexandria-list] Surname parsing

Hi everybody,

Here's my slightly improved patch. It still requires work, but I would
appreciate if people feel I'm going in the right direction! I know it
works against a clean CVS version.

As for the backwards compatibility conversation. I was more concerned
with loading files say in Alexandria 0.4 that had been saved by
Alexandria 0.6... But it seems that so long as there is an upgrade path
everybody is happy.
