Notes: The Units Pipe Dream (Part 1) - a facility to transparently add units to numbers in Ruby. Based on a Measure/System/Unit ontology, the gem adds the NumericWithUnits class that can be used to do any calculation a Numeric can, as well as unit conversion and verification. Numeric and Object are also extended to dynamically access units.
