EdX version 0.9.1

INTRODUCTION:

EdX is a character editor for the Tri-Stat dX tabletop RPG system published by
Guardians of Order, Inc.

The latest version of EdX can always be found at
http://rubyforge.org/projects/edx/.

INSTALLATION:

To install the software, simply extract the binary package to a suitable
directory and double-click on the EdX executable.

USAGE:

Hopefully you will find the software fairly intuitive.  To add an item to a
list, double click on the "(new)" entry.  To remove an item from a list, click
on it and press the <Del> key.

To print a character, use the "Export..." command on the "File" menu to export
it to HTML, then use your favorite web browser to print it out.

KNOWN BUGS:

- Attributes with a scaling factor of "X" currently don't work (i.e. Agents and
  Servants)
- Abilities, disabilities, and skill specializations are reported to be broken
  on Linux.

To run it you will need the following software:
- Ruby 1.8.2 (http://www.ruby-lang.org or http://rubyinstaller.rubyforge.org)

- FXRuby 1.2.x (get it via RubyGems: "gem install fxruby")
- Amrita 1.0.x (http://amrita.sourceforge.jp/)

Once you have the requisite packages, run "ruby EdX.rb" from the src directory.
