finalized VM (it just silently ignores it). Fixed memory leak
when reporting a MisuseException ('msg' was NULL, but was being
freed). VM is now finalized automatically when an error is

test/tc_database.rb: ResultSet#initialize now invokes API::step,
so that Statement#execute will execute the query. This makes
doing DDL statements friendlier. Also changed
Database#execute_immediate to Database#execute_batch, and
Statement#execute_immediate went away. A problem with fragility
in callbacks was discovered, so exceptions raised inside of a
callback will only result in a warning message, not a raised
exception. Likewise, using FunctionProxy#set_error can result in
segmentation faults... uknown why.

test/tc_database.rb: Inspired by Copland: Rakefile is much
better, version information for library is stored in its own
module (which Rakefile uses directoy). Also renamed gemspec file
to be the name of the project. Gem packages will now be named
after the project as well, instead of "sqlite".

telling that prepared statements are not actually executed until
the result set's #next method is invoked. (This is important for
DDL statements in particular.)
Also fixed documentation bug in statement.rb. (Thanks to Vincent
Isambart for reporting both issues.)
