SUBJECT: Noob Question Gems for cewl I'm a newbie using Kubuntu and so everything is a massive struggle at the moment.
I've been trying to set up cewl to use with John the Ripper and need to install the following Gems;
nokogiri
hpricot
http_configuration
mime-types
mini_exiftool
rubyzip
spider
To get it to function.
I've installed rubygems but whenever I sudo apt-get to install the gems I get the message
E: Unable to find package location.
I suspect I must be missing something staringly obvious but can't work out what.
What I had imagined would be a simple process has now taken several days and I seem to be no closer to working it out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
