SUBJECT: RE: get_type_metrics - a bug, or my own mistake? I managed to find a resolution (and yes, the issue was on my end). However, there is one last problem remaining: the docs for get_type_metrics are still badly incomplete, and when I output that particular structure to the screen, it's missing one very important value: the advance width. It shows max_advance_width, which defines the largest one in the font set. But for any given character, I need to know its advance width. Since text is correctly displayed when annotated in rmagick, the value is clearly defined somewhere! But I haven't been able to get ahold of it. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks! | |
