SUBJECT: Blobs not being saved

Hi all,

We've been going through db2 validation. I've got our system up and running on one install. Now I am testing on another server and getting strange results.

We have a model that has a blob attribute. When I try to set the attribute everything appears to be fine (save returns true) but if I reload the model, the attribute is empty.

This works fine on our other setup

Working version:
DB2 v9.7.0.2 2

Failing version:
DB2 9.7.0.3 3

The only other difference is that the working version is on a intel chip, while the broken one is on a power7 box.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to debug/fix the issue?

Thanks
Simon
