SUBJECT: RE: I need SQLite-ruby for Ruby 1.8.0, please ! Please, do not put the sqlite3.dll in the same folder Ruby executable or sketch up is located.
Please put that file in another folder that is in the PATH and try again.
It will not have a fix since the API for Ruby has changed a lot since 1.8.0 and building a version for that particular version of "embedded" Ruby will take time.
