ROROX doesn't work with XAMPP 1.5.1 (yet). The next version is hopefully going to, but I haven't done the testing yet.
If you want to manually configure Apache,all the patch script does is add the following line to httpd.conf:
LoadModule scgi_module modules/mod_scgi.so
Simply stop Apache, insert the line near the other LoadModule lines, then restart.
However, having said this, the version of mod_scgi included with ROROX is built against XAMPP 1.5.0, which used an older version of Apache. You will need a recomplied version of mod_scgi. If you want to wait, I plan to put this together before the end of this month (hopefully).
