Message: 65658 BY: Norm Scherer (nsche) DATE: 2009-03-11 17:34 SUBJECT: Release 1.3 is comming!   Release 1.3 will be complete by the end of the week and will be going into test. Documentation updating, testing and release preparation will probably take two weeks and then the release will be made made around the end of the month. This release adds a few features which should be very useful. 1 - Extra charges (ie WiFi, Extra Person etc.) have been added. What the charges are called and rates are specified in setup. 2 - A overview of reservations in a graphical form has been added. It shows what sites are reserved on each date for the next couple of months. 3 - An integrated database backup capability has been added. This will create a backup file which contains the vital system information which should be preserved on a periodic basis. It also gives the capability to reload a selected backup file to restore the system. 4 - Taxes have been changed to be completely defined in setup. This will allow you to set up the taxes as pertain to your location including names, rates and applicability. Taxes can be defined to be a percentage or fixed amount per night. 5 - Many other internal changes have been made, most of which will not be visible to the user but contribute to the quality and usability of the system.
