Sounds great. I'll post some news here on your development so people who are looking for that DBD and end up here get sent to the right place.

With any luck (new job is still licking my will to code) we'll be able to start on 0.6.0 RSN, once the Ruby 1.9 situation stabilizes driver-wise and I get a firmer idea of what really needs to be tackled in the next major release.
