SUBJECT: RE: Questions about creating a SQL Anywhere DBD

regarding (c), I must admit I've never needed functionality like this, but I'm happy to support/implement it. I assume you want a call on the statement handle like next_result_set() or some such that finishes the current result set and moves to the next one, for purposes of fetch(), etc?

re (d), no, there is no spec yet. 0.6.0 is very infantile at this point; mostly a semi-prioritized task list with the assumption that it's likely not all of it will get done before it gets released. In fact, the development branch I've been using to get 1.9 compat out the door as I don't think 0.6.0 will be address before 1.9 becomes a "real" concern.

However, I would like to encourage and invite you to get involved in the spec process when it starts, since it seems to have been a good place in the past. I'll probably bring it up on the -users list, which I know works for everyone. :P
