SUBJECT: Types of output

Hello,

CTioga looks great. Unfortunately, nowhere on your site (at least nowhere I could find after a thorough search) does it tell me what form the output takes. I am assuming that PDF files are created that can be read with Adobe Acrobat Reader. I thought I saw something somewhere about Postscript.

But what I am looking for is a great graphing/charting program for use with Ruby on Rails. I need it to spit graphs out as PNGs or GIFs, or at least as SVG, or I need an easy way to create them from the CTioga output.

This seems to me a way to greatly boost interest in your excellent project. Right now it looks like I'll be using the RSRuby bindings to create my charts and graphs in R. CTioga seems so much simpler...

Thanks!
