SUBJECT: checking for stdint.h... extconf.rb failed I get this error during
gem install rmagick
on my Ubuntu 12.04 LTS server. Ruby version is:
ruby 1.9.3p194 (2012-04-20) [x86_64-linux]
The file stdint.h is installed in
/usr/include/stdint.h
I spent a lot of time installing all kinds of *-dev packages, but I'm running out of options. Internet research shows that this is mostly a Windows and Mac problem, but I'm on Ubuntu.
