-AL: Gathering people is a bitch.

-AL: You were wrong about this, but you still have a good idea.

>SS: Also all the wiki data got spammed to death.

-AL: Then kill the spam and repost. Just because there are mean people out there(ones who spam) doesn't mean that there aren't people worth helping. Have you heard of the $100 laptop project? Its for children in developing countries.
Wouldn't it be nice for these children to have an OS written in Ruby? Couldn't it also be written with MVC structure to make it consistent with Rails? An intranet ready RailsOS where each computer is already its own webserver and kid form intranets via Bluetooth?

>SS: These days I am working and has no time for anything.

-AL: Since you are the initiator of this project, this project lives or dies based on your actions.
If your project is feasable, maybe it will lead to an educational OS where newbies have easy, readable and open access to their entire programming environment.

There is a Linux distribution called Heretix that has a Ruby based file system. What do you know about this? Can this be combined with ROS?

Also, can a small OS like Embedded Linux simply be compiled into Ruby?
