Yes, it seems that there have been a bunch of new apis added since I last did any major work on this.
I have some thoughts on how I want to proceed before I incorporate a lot more work into the current version of the library.
The mishmash that is the Flickr API means that it's easy for libraries like this to drift from the server implementation without knowing it.
Take a look at the roadmap thread if you're interested. Sorry I haven't already incorporated support.

Has anyone done any work to support some of the new location information handled by flickr? Although the old geotagging used to put long and lat co-ords in regular tags, now there is a location tag and a geoperms tag. This info can be retrieved through a new photos.geo set of methods, as well as photos.getInfo, and the new photos.getWithGeoData
