I have started working (it is better then to request) on making a filter for the work report. To put it sql terms a 'WHERE Job =" pull down of the jobs.
here is where I need help, I have not done a desktop app since I was in 5th grade doing stuff in various X basic languages.
I have a few questions regarding doing this in Ruby. 1 do I need to compile my scripts to test them, or can I just run "ReportDialog.rb" from the command line and get back my first mistake.
if there is an article that I should read over have the answer posted here just respond w/ that. how ever a more program specific dev requirements check list would be cool. like a list of needed gems and external programs (like the ruby compiler) would be cool.
