Is anyone supporting FireRuby anymore? And does it work with large blobs yet (over 32k)?

If you are using InterBase FYI, FireRuby won't work with it. It uses the wrong data structures and supports an extra type (BIGINT - InterBase has one FireBird doesn't as well, BOOLEAN). I am porting Peter's work (with his OK) to IBRuby (see other project) and will be expanding it as well as writing the ActiveRecord support for it.

Hi,

I'm completely new to Ruby, just installed and played around a little bit, I'm coming from Delphi looking for dynamic sites development, been looking ASP.NET & C#, but Ruby looks awesome, and then I found FireRuby, is really interesting because I work a lot with FireBird, and I think I'll be using it for a long time. Well, there is no much documentacion about fireruby, and I can only see one memeber in this project, I don't know if I can help here, may be testing, but I would like to see this project alive and that can be posible if we help eachother, so you can count with me, just tell me what can I do for the project.

Best Regards
Mocte
