I'm glad that worked....

Loan words... Haven't seen a redistributable list. But I'll keep my eyes open. That would be good just for practicing katakana even.

Anyway, if you have any suggestions, feel free to ask. I haven't been doing much development in the last few weeks because I'm at a bit of a crossroads.

I've been playing around with some flashcard programs that do a more strict Leitner style drill system and I have to admit that I like it. So I'm thinking of making some changes.

I'll probably do another release with my current changes and then think heavily about what direction it should go. As the first person to have posted anything here other than me, I'd welcome any feedback you have :-)

That worked, thanks.

Nice package, just what I wanted.

I'm interested in drilling on <em>words</em> spelled in katakana -- any ideas for a source of say top 500 loan words?

Hi Henry.

Ya. I should have mentioned in the install docs that you need to install the Japanese language pack for Windows.

Here are some instructions:

Step 1
http://www.nihongo-ok.com/method/011113_winxp1.htm

Step 2
http://www.nihongo-ok.com/method/011113_winxp2.htm

(Step 2 is not strictly necessary, but you might as well so that you can enter Japanese text as well).

If you have any other difficulties, please don't hesitate to ask.
