Hi Toby,

After having a quick look at our internal logs, it seems that your port 22 was not publicly opened in the Source Region.
I guess, you changed this and tried to re-submit using the back button of your browser.

Unfortunately, Cloudy_Script does not allow this.
In order to re-submit you have to re-start the submission process from the starting page which is https://cloudyscripts.com/tool/show/5 in your case.

Hope this helps.

I get the same error. Port 22 is open to all at both source and target. I am trying to copy an AMI.

Hi Nick,

If I understand well, you are trying to copy an "instance" whereas CloudyScripts can only copy "AMI" or "Snapshot".
CloudyScripts "Copy MS Windows AMI" scripts is able to copy an MS Windows AMI, but not an instance of it. If you want to copy your current instance, you have to create an AMi from it in AWS console.

In fact, to configure your SecurityGroup for CloudyScripts, you have to open port 22 in your default SecurityGroup for everyone (0.0.0.0/0) in both Source and Target Region. This will allow to communicate from CloudyScripts to both region and between region.

Hope this helps.

A little background on the setup. This is an AMI from AWS. It is windows 2008 R2 based. It is a micro instance. The instance is OFF when I'm attempting to use CloudyScripts to copy it from region west to region east.

I seem to be following all the settings correctly, but I keep getting this error from ClouldyScripts:
"port 22 on the target region default security group is not open"

I go to the security groups on my hosted region (West). There is only an Inbound tab for the port settings. I created a Custom TCP rule, port range 22 and set the source. Save my changes, then do the same on the destination region (East). Since there is only an Inbound tab to set up the ports, I don't know what else to do to get this to work.
