thanks for the response Elias. I will not pursue this because after failing to get ncal2gcal to work, I found another package called "Lotus Notes to Goggle Calendar Synchronizer (LNGS) v1.11 that seems to do the synchronization job quite well, plus it has a simple but nice UI. John

Hi!
The "I" stands for "insert". The "X" following the "I" means that there was an exception while trying to insert the appointment into your google calendar. Please post your commandline arguments (without passwords) and your logfile. The logfile 'ncal2gcal.log' you will find on your %SystemDrive% (default is C:) in the 'ncal2gcal' folder in %APPDATA%.
Example:
C:\Documents and Settings\user123\Application Data\ncal2gcal\ncal2gcal.log

Don't see ncal2gcal updates to google [ reply ] 2011-02-22 20:00

Hi, I have tried both the portable and standard versions of ncal2gcal. I am using Windows XP Professional, Lotus Notes 8.5, and both Chrome 9 and IE 8 browsers.
When I start either version of ncal2gcal, I am asked once each time for permission to access the internet (I respond always), then I see a series of IXIXIXIXIX's - about 6 rows worth in the cmd window. The ncal2gcal batch file exits without any other messages.
When I check my goggle calendar, I see no sign that an update has been attempted. Have you advise for me on what to do next to address this problem?
Thanks, John
