Please also try to open the file with Openoffice on your Windows machine. Please try it with the latest version of OpenOffice 3.2.1.

Also please upload a sample file of your XLS file that you are trying to open somewhere where we can download it and test it ourselves. Please paste the link of the sample file you uploaded to the Mailing-List.

Hi,

I have the following problem:
I create an MS excel workbook on an Ubuntu system and copy it to a Windows systems.
When I open the file on the windows system with Excel 2000 I have no problems.
When I open the excel spreadsheet with Excel 2003, I get the message "Excel found unredable content ....".

Does someone know what I do wrong?
