First of all, sorry to everyone for not answering at all here over the last year: I kept most of my energy to work on ctioga2, and I completely stopped to use/develop ctioga.
That's why I encourage everyone to switch to ctioga2, found at http://rubyforge.org/projects/ctioga2/
It has much more features than the old ctioga, and is much more extensible.
Unfortunately for gilmour page, support for histograms is not available yet in ctioga2, though that can be arranged soon.
