Are trying to run your program with a specific port ? Or trying to tell ruby-prof to use a specific port? If the first, use -- -p 3000. If the later, then that's incorrect usage of ruby-prof since it doesn't support ports (that would only be useful for a remote debugger which ruby-prof is not).

I can seem to get ruby-prof to run with a port specified. I've searched and I can't find anything related. Is there a way to do this?

ruby-prof -f /Users/ror/prof.html -p graph_html script/server -p 3000

results in:
invalid argument: -p 3000
