Hello Dan,
I've been following this project for some time as well. I've mailed with Francis in the past. I'd been working on a kind of rewrite but got stalled with the BER encoding/decoding stuff. I should get off my butt and finish it up.
If Francis is willing I'd be willing to pick up part of the load.

You know, for as long as I've been hanging out in the forums for these projects, I have never seen a response or a post from either project admin.
