This project isn't active, but it was basically feature complete for my purposes as an intranet wiki on the first or second release. I still use it as a wiki-enhanced personal journal, and project oriented notes/to do list at my work. (Basically using standard ruby as a Google Gears-like setting a year or more before google released gears :)
There was some interest in making Ruwiki usable for public facing websites, but that was going to take a much larger increment of redesign and test. I don't have a personal need for that at the moment, and the interested parties just wanted a drop-in application as opposed to wanting to write one.
I have some notes for a next-generation Ruwiki, but those features take it more down the road of an intranet/personal wiki vs a public wiki -- and the itch hasn't been strong enough to scratch yet....
