Summary: Tartan 0.1.0 -- first release
Project: Tartan Text Parser

The first version of the Tartan text parser has been released. Here's the project blurb:

A text parsing engine. The syntax is defined outside the engine as regex-based rules, in YAML or Ruby. It supports layering and multiple output types. Rules for Markdown to HTML are included, with optional layered extensions for tables and wikilinks.

The documentation is pretty sparse/lacking, so if you are adventurous we would really like you to try it and provide feedback both on using the library and on the code itself.

We'll be monitoring the fora and feel free to contact us directly if you have questions or suggestions.
