Summary: LogiLogi Algae development moved to RubyForge
Project: LogiLogi - Beyond the Book

Since we received the small grant from the University of Groningen two people (Lars Buitinck and Wybo Wiersma) are actively developping LogiLogi Algae. This resulted in a re-evaluation of our "forge" site and we decided to move the active development of LogiLogi Algae to RubyForge. The old plankton version and lake will remain on SourceForge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/logilogi/). Also file releases of Algae will still be made on both sites.

This move reflects our choice to use Ruby on Rails as the platform for the development of LogiLogi Algae. Besides this RubyForge supports Subversion which is a much cleaner and better thought out version control system than CVS. Also RubyForge provides us with a face in the Ruby-community.
