Summary: Rails Editor initial Release
Project: Rails Editor
Rails editor was developed by console junkies, for console junkies, with the intent of making a rails tree IDE as efficient as possible. It's essentially just a ruby script which creates a screen configuration and runs screen with rails-specific directories and files already open. For those who know screen and vim, the setup is instantly usable. For novices only the basics of screen are necessary, switching windows (with ctrl-A #) and cut/paste. Screenshots available at
http://wendymo.com/gallery/RailsEditor . With the visual versions of screen (Escreen) and vim (gvim), this is a setup gooey users could turn in to a smooth groove as well. |
