This new RMagick release incorporates Ruby Vector Graphics (RVG), which was previously a separate project (http://rvg.rubyforge.org). RVG is a high-level library for drawing 2D graphics with an API based on the Scalable Vector Graphics specification. RMagick 1.8.0 also includes new RVG documentation and example scripts.
