Summary: Flash Rails 0.9.0.2 released, with updated Ruby interpreters
Project: Flash Rails

The most important news about this release is it includes updated MRI Ruby interpreters to address all the security issues being brought up lately. There is not much to say about Flash Rails itself. This release is virtually identical to the 0.9 release with one bug fix (the only bug report I've gotten). I wanted to get a new version out, though, so developers can easily take advantage of the new Ruby interpreters.

The Standard and Lite editions of Flash Rails now provide Ruby 1.8.7-p72. The Ruby1.9 edition has also been updated with Ruby 1.9.0.2. In addition I've updated SQLite to 3.6.1 and the Standard edition contains the latest Rubygems, Mongrel, Rails, and sqlite3-ruby gems as of yesterday.

About Flash Rails:

Flash Rails is a self-contained, portable ruby environment. All you do is extract the downloaded file, run the 'update_path' script, then run 'use_ruby' to open a command prompt with ruby commands available. Also, if you extract RadRails-0.7.2 into the Flash Rails root directory, it will configure RadRails for you every time you run 'update_path'.
