To continue to provide as much coverage of the documented Twitter.com
REST API, Twitter4R version 0.3.0 was released tonight to add the
relatively new additions of:
* favorites (retrieving list, adding, removing)
* verifying user credentials (for lightweight verification)

As usual for Twitter4R it was released with 100% C0 code coverage. It
already includes a number of features that most other Twitter
libraries do not expose. Namely:
* an easy way to add your application's "source" information, so
Twitter users can tell you submitted your tweets through your own
application and link back to your application's website.
* access to all other Twitter.com REST APIs (except end_session,
which seems irrelevant for the moment, until a different
authentication scheme comes along).

To install Twitter4R you can just need to install the v0.3.0 RubyGem:
$ sudo gem install twitter4r --v=0.3.0

You may need to wait for Rubyforge mirrors to sync before being able
to download.
