Version 0.2.44 of the Ruby-HL7 library has been released. The library provides a simple api for parsing and generating HL7 2.x messages. HL7 3.0 support is planned for a future release.

This release provides some bugfixes when accessing segments and speeds up the parsing of messages with many unimplemented segments. In addition it adds support for child/associated segment access.
