You may try out the unstable package which is somewhat more speedier, but its output isn't that nice. The interesting thing is to compare the unstable performance against the stable, the difference in responce time are quite noticable.

You are welcome to modify aeditor, please share any code you make for it. There are 2 ways you can share your code with others.

A) submit a patch here
