One day TourneyBot will be able to send a random tidbit (found below) to a
requesting user. Maybe.

1: First ever tourney directed by TourneyBot was held on FIBS on the 31st of
December, 2003. It was a simple single elimination tourney with a 3 point
final match that was won by bbennett (KATO was the Runner-Up).

2: On January 2nd, 2004, TourneyBot was used for the first time to hold
FIBSLeaGammon's Fridays3 Tourney, featuring 12 players. rdd beat Spock in the
5-point finals 7-0.

3: The first longer TourneyBot tourney was held between January 2nd and
January 14th, 2004. The matches were 3-pointers with 7-point finals. juanz won
it by beating Tremolo in the finals, 7-0.

4: The hosting for TourneyBot is provided by Eric (webrunner). The bot currently
runs on a dual Pentium III dedicated server, running Mandrake Linux.

5: Highest number of players so far in a tourney was 64, in Tomawaky's Tourney
#105.

6: On June 20th, 2004, Double Elimination tourneys have been introduced. Nine
players participated in the first tourney, which was won by diane.

7: Before anyone with a certain amount of experience points was allowed to
hold tourneys, there was a group of administrator-appointed tourney directors.
They were an important part of TourneyBot's early stage, often helping out with
testing and suggesting improvements. Their names were: MadMatt, Kari_Grandi,
houtx, tem_sat, PumpkinEater, jonjon, diane, Tomawaky, HumanIAm, socksey, tryout, 
jinnate, alef, burper, BrizzyLions, mano, gogogiz, PortWine, Carolina_Blue and 
EddieVedd.
